(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Sioux Lookout man with multiple offences following a disturbance.
During the evening of January 4, 2013, members of the Sioux Lookout OPP responded to a report of an assault at a First Avenue residence.
The subsequent investigation revealed that two subjects had been assaulted at the residence. When police located the suspect, he resisted arrested and assaulted one of the officers.
Charged with one count each of assault cause bodily harm, assault, assault police, utter threats, and possession of a controlled substance is 49 year old Archibald BINGUIS of Sioux Lookout.
BINGUIS remains in custody at this time, and will appear in Sioux Lookout bail court on January 6, 2013.
