(NAPANEE, ON)- Last night at 7:06 pm Napanee OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on Hwy 401 eastbound near Wymans Road, Tyendinaga Township.
A grey Buick Lacrosse was located in the south ditch. The driver of the vehicle, 29 year-old Matthew HUGHES of Kitchener was transported to Lennox and Addington County General Hospital where he was treated and released. Two other occupants in the vehicle were unhurt.
HUGHES is charged with impaired driving, over 80, possession of a controlled substance (marihuana) and operating a vehicle with open liquor readily available.
He was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on August 13th.
