On October 26, 2014 at 3:32 a.m., the Guelph Police Service went to a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of Fife Road and Elmira Road. It is alleged that a single motor vehicle travelling south on Elmira Road left the roadway and came to rest in a field. The female driver was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.
