(Douro-Dummer Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar patrol on Highway 28 just after 11:00pm on Saturday. A vehicle was measured at 136km/h in the posted 80km/h zone with snowy road conditions.
Simone HEWITT (age 21) of Toronto, ON is charged with stunt driving, her licence suspended for 7 days and will appear in court on March 09, 2015. The accused’s 2005 Mazda was towed from the scene and impounded.
