(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On Wednesday August 30, 2017 at approximately 9:00 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near College Avenue in the City of Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a 2012 Acura TL travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 138 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.
20-year-old Dustin James SIMINOSKI of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 1, 2017.His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
