Sidney DARRAH – Drunk Driving

(Fort Frances, ON) – Shortly before 9:00 pm on August 2, 2013, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the 800 block of King’s Highway in Fort Frances.

Officers located the vehicle in question and conducted an investigation as a result of the complaint made by a member of the public.

As a result of this investigation, Sidney DARRAH (72) of La Vallee has been charged criminally with:

One count of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and

One count of having over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood.

DARRAH will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on Monday September 9, 2013 at 9:30 am.

The OPP is committed to safety for all who utilize Ontario’s roadways. Members of the public are urged to report Impaired Driving by calling 911 in emergency situations.
