(Ottawa) On August 6, 2014 at approximately 9:40 pm Ottawa Police Service officers, while on patrol, were approached by Lepage Avenue residents.
They were advised that the residents had seen two suspicious males with one carrying a gun. They were directed to a residence in the 1400 block of Lepage Avenue. Close to the same time a 911 call was received advising of a disturbance at the same address. The caller also stated that a gunshot had been heard.
More officers attended the area and a bullet hole was located in a dwelling unit.
The Ottawa Police Guns & Gangs Unit is investigating.
