(HUNTSVILLE, ON.) – Just before 1:00pm on Sunday August 21, 2016 Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment members were made aware that an injured male had been transported to a local area hospital with injuries involving a firearm. The male suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Huntsville OPP learned that an altercation had taken place at an apartment building on Main St. W. in the town of Huntsville, that resulted in the male being injured.
Muskoka Crime Unit along with Emergency Response Team (ERT), K9 and Forensic Identification unit are assisting with the investigation.
One male has since been arrested. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
