At 7:05 p.m. last night police attended the L.C.B.O. located on Marlborough St, Blenheim in regards to a theft complaint. Investigation revealed two parties entered the business then selected Three (3) bottles of liquor and proceeded to leave without making any attempt to pay for the property. At approximately 9:30 p.m. members of the community patrol division located two parties in Chatham who matched the description of the parties responsible. Police confirmed they were the parties responsible. Both parties were arrested and charged with Theft under $5000.00 and Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5000.00. Both the 40 year old Chatham male and the 37 year old Chatham female were released with a future court date.
