Barrie Police Officers were detailed to the northend Walmart in regards to a female shoplifter. The officer arrived on scene and was advised by store security that the female went to several sections of the store concealing various items on her person. The female exited the premises without making any attempt to purchase the items. The female was arrested by a loss prevention officer and returned to their office. The 50 yr old Shanty Bay female was released on scene with a future court date. The total value of merchandise stolen was over $700
