SHOPLIFTER CHARGED

(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a theft which occurred at the Canadian Tire store located on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg.

Through investigation it was determined that a male suspect entered the store on July 23, 2014 shortly after 8:30 p.m. and stole two televisions with a value of $760. The incident was captured on in store surveillance cameras. The suspect then returned to the store the next day and store employees contacted OPP immediately.

26 year old Jordan HAINER of Woodstock was arrested on July 24, 2014, and charged with, Theft Under $5,000, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Woodstock Courthouse.
