(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 45 year old woman with shoplifting after investigating an incident at a Main St., Jarvis, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Friday June 26th, 2015 at approximately 9:38 am Police were called to Timber Mart on Main St. to investigate a theft complaint where a woman had removed products from the store.
Investigation revealed that a woman had attended that Timber Mart store, removed the cleaning products and then fled the area by taxi. The taxi service was located in Brantford as well as the suspect. She was arrested and during the search of the female, merchandise consisting of medical creams were located and seized.
A follow up investigation ensued with an officer attending Cavanaugh Pharmacy in Jarvis which revealed the recovered property was removed from their pharmacy.
Charged with 2 counts of Theft Under $5000 dollars, 2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 dollars and 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order is 45 year old Tammy REEB of Brantford, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
