(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A local female was caught driving while suspended from doing so.
On September 30, 2014 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a vehicle stop and subsequently confirmed that the driver was suspended from driving.
As a result of the investigation Shona MUTTON, 40 years of age, was charged with two counts of driving while suspended, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on December 9, 2014.
