Shannon Shelley BELL – Drunk Driving

(TINY TOWNSHIP) – On August 3, 2016 at 1:34 a.m. a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a grey Hyundai Accent for speeding on County Road 6 in Tiny Township, ON. The female driver smelled of alcohol and was given a roadside test which resulted in a ‘fail’. The female was arrested and taken to the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment for further tests.

As a result of these tests, Shannon Shelley BELL (age 22) of Barrie, Ontario has been charged with:

Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Driving while ability impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused received a 90 day automatic driver’s licence suspension and further her vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice on August 18, 2016 in Midland, ON.
