(PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – On January 2, 2015 at approximately 2:36 a.m. officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on County Road 93 south of Penetanguishene for driving erratically.
During the vehicle stop, the officer determined that the male driver had been consuming alcohol and subsequently conducted a roadside test. As a result of the investigation, Shane MACMILLAN (age 41) of Penetanguishene, ON is charged with:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal code of Canada
He was also served a 90 day Automatic Driver’s Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland, Ontario on January 21, 2016.
