Barrie Police responded to an address on Edgehill Dr on April. 13/14 in regards to a female being sexually assaulted. The officers determined that the female was out with friends drinking and returned to a residence on Edgehill Dr. The victim was left alone in the livingroom with a 52 year old male. The male made several gestures to the female in an attempt to have sex. The female refused but the male refused to be denied and held the female down forcing her to have intercourse with him. The suspect was later identified through information and arrested on April 22/14 for the offence of sexual assault. The male has a history of similar act and was held for a bail hearing.
