Several Vehicle Entries In Listowel

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday November 08, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Listowel were contacted by a number of residents who reported their unlocked vehicles had been rummaged through. Some residents also had items removed from inside their vehicles. The addresses where these reported incidents occurred are located on Salisbury Ave South, Denstedt St West and Boyne Ave South.

Subsequent investigation and patrols by OPP officers in Listowel revealed that during the time period that these vehicles were entered suspicious individuals had been observed in the following areas of town; Armstrong St, Boyne Ave, Denstedt St, Donegan St, Salisbury Ave, Hutton St, Richilieu Ave, and Boyd Ave.

Investigators would appreciate hearing from anyone in Listowel who had property stolen from their vehicles between the evening of Thursday November 07 and the morning of Friday November 08, 2013. You can contact the Listowel OPP Detachment at (519) 291-1414
