(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged several people with drug related offences during the past weekend.
The first incident took place during early morning hours of 12:20am on the 20th of December 2014 when officers attended Blue Mountain resort for a male that had been taken into custody by resort security. Upon dealing with the male, it was found that he was in possession of marijuana.
Charged is 32 year-old Aaron CLARKE of North York, he was charged with Possession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana – under 30 grams and is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 29th of January 2015. He was also given Provincial Offences Notices for being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor License Act and fail to leave premises when directed under the Trespass to Property Act.
Also on the 20th of December 2014 shortly before 9:00pm, officers on patrols investigated a vehicle in a parking lot on Jozo Weider Boulevard in The Blue Mountains. The investigation led to officers arresting the female occupant and seizing a small amount of marihuana.
Charged is 18 year-old Samantha INFUSINI of Caledon, she was charged with possession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana – under 30 grams and is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 22nd of January 2015.
A third such incident took place on the 21st of December 2014 shortly before 10:00pm where an officer on patrols investigated a motor vehicle in a parking lot on Jozo Weider Boulevard in The Blue Mountains. Investigation led to officers arresting a male and seizing a small amount of marihuana.
Charged is 22 year-old Daniel PRESS of Thornhill, he is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance and is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 22nd of January 2015.
