Several Impaired Drivers

MISCHIEF/DRUGS

(North Dundas) – On May 15, 2015 at approximately 5:54 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on St. Lawrence Street in the Town of Winchester in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had caused damage to a household. Further information also revealed that the male was in possession of drugs. A second adult male at the location was also found to be in possession of drugs.

The 24-year-old male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief Under $5,000

– Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Marijuana Under 30 grams

The second 24-year-old Adult male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Marijuana Under 30 grams

Both Males were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 9, 2015.

IMPAIRED DRIVER(S)

(North Stormont) – On May 15, 2015 at approximately 3:51 pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a motor vehicle on County Road 43, North Stormont Township. The stop revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Sharon JONES (44) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 02, 2015.

(South Stormont) – On May 16, 2015 at approximately 9:42 pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a motor vehicle on County Road 2, South Stormont Township. The stop revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Pauline BEDARD (61) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 15, 2015

(South Dundas) – – On May 17, 2015 at approximately 5:33 pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a motor vehicle on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. The stop revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Michael R MERKLEY (43) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 09, 2015

Mischief and Resist Peace Officer

(South Glengarry) – On May 16, 2015 at approximately 6:39 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded a disturbance at a residence in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that a female youth caused damage while in Police custody and resisted officers during the arrest.

-A female youth from South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief Under $5,000

– Resist Peace Officer

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 02, 2015.
