(Napanee, ON)- Officers with the Napanee and Loyalist detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police are at the scene of multiple motor vehicle collisions along Highway 401.
Motorists are asked to avoid Highway 401 and take alternoute routes.
A jack-knifed tractor trailer is currently blocking both eastbound lanes east of Hwy 37. The highway is down to one lane between Hwy 37 and Shannonville Road.
One lane is also closed on Hwy 401 westbound near Switzerville Road.
Due to adverse weather, please slow down, use caution and be prepared in the event you must stop.
