Seventeen Annual Christmas Angel Program 2013-11-18

(Pembroke, Ontario) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is once again organizing a Christmas Tree Angel Program. Christmas trees in both the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Detachments at 1913 Petawawa Blvd., Petawawa, and 169 William St. Pembroke will have a number of “Angels” on them, representing children in the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment area. Each “Angel” will represent a less fortunate child in our community. The following locations are assisting by putting trees up in their offices:

Admaston/Bromley Twp. Municipal Office

North Algona/ Wilberforce Twp. Municipal Office

Town of Petawawa Municipal Office

Town of Petawawa Library

Beachburg Post Office Twp. of Whitewater Region

Westmeath Public School Twp. of Whitewater Region

Westmeath Post Office. Twp. of Whitewater Region

Citizens are asked to attend any of the above locations and pick an “Angel”, purchase a gift and return unwrapped gifts to the offices were they were taken from by the 5th of December, to ensure that the gifts can be distributed on time.

Please try and remember the smile that it will bring to someone to have a little something extra under the Christmas tree.
