(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a single vehicle collision on 27th Line in Zorra Township.
On January 11, 2015 at approximately 12:40 a.m. police were called to the collision on 27th Line just south of Road 92. A southbound snowmobile lost control and struck a tree in the east ditch.
The lone male driver of the snowmobile was transported to area hospital with serious injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Investigation (TTCI) Team attended the scene to assist with the investigation. The Township of Zorra Fire Department and Perth County EMS attended and assisted at the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
