During the afternoon of Wednesday December 30th, 2015 the 52 year old male and 36 year old female became involved in verbal and physical altercation, while in the downtown core. As a result the altercation the female received serious head injuries.
The female is currently in critical condition at the London Health Sciences Centre.
The Owen Sound Police Service have laid a charge of Aggravated Assault against a 52 year Owen Sound male. The male was remanded into custody and will appear in court in Owen Sound on January 4th, 2016.
