(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – A mother is recovering in hospital and two year old and four year old boys have been released from hospital following a serious two-vehicle crash on Longwoods Road at Carriage Road on March 29, 2014.
At approximately 10:32 a.m. on March 29, 2014 Middlesex County Ontario (OPP), Delaware Fire and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Service responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Longwoods Road and Carriage Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
Police have learned that a Jeep carrying a mother and two young boys was travelling southbound on Carriage Road. The vehicle proceeded through the intersection when it collided with a minivan travelling westbound on Longwoods Road. The driver of the minivan was transported to hospital and later released.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) attended the scene to assist with the investigation. Police closed the intersection for approximately five hours for the investigation.
