(KINGSVILLE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Kingsville, along with Kingsville Fire Department and Windsor Essex Emergency Medical Service (EMS) were called to a single vehicle crash on Essex County Road 29 (Division Road) at Road 6 in Kingsville at approximately 2:20 a.m. this date.
A minivan left the roadway, struck a ditch and the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
Essex County Road 29 between Road 5 and Highway 3 in Kingsville is currently closed while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) processes the scene. It is expected to remain closed for the next several hours while the investigation is completed. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
