(LAKESHORE, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Lakeshore Fire Department, are currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision on Essex County Road 42 at Lakeshore Road 105 in Lakeshore.
The collision occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. between a passenger vehicle and a transport truck.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are currently enroute to the scene to investigate.
Essex County Road 42 between Patillo Road and Lakeshore Road 107 will remain closed for the next several hours while the investigation is conducted.
