(PEMBROKE, ON) – On December 07, 2015 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in Laurentian Valley Township. Two adults were arrested and a quantity of drugs was seized. 30 year old Priscilla CAMERON and 28 year old Cory Grant Albert LAPIERRE, both of Laurentian Valley Township, are both charged with the following CDSA offence:
Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
LAPIERRE was further charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Fail to Comply with Recognizance
Fail to Comply with Probation – 3 counts
Both were held for a bail hearing. They were subsequently released on a Recognizance of Bail and are both scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 05, 2016.
On December 07, 2015 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP conducted a traffic stop in the City of Pembroke. The vehicle driver, 27 year old Luke DEROUIN of Whitewater Region, was arrested and charged with the following CDSA offence:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
He was also charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Fail to Comply with Probation – 3 counts
He was held for a bail hearing and was subsequently released on a Recognizance of Bail with a court date of January 12, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
