Mid morning on February 6, 2014, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an apartment on Mooregate Crescent, Kitchener. An 26 year old female and 33 year male, both Kitchener residents, were arrested and charged with numerous drug and weapons offences. During the search of the residence, police seized quantities of heroin and marihuana with an approximate street value of $17,000. Both of the arrested parties were held for show cause hearings.
