A 25-year-old Barrie man has been charged with Cruelty to Animals after witnesses reported seeing the man deliberately kicking seagulls at Heritage Park, in the City of Barrie.
One bird received injuries to its wing and leg. Witnesses and police were unable to capture the seagull to tend to its injuries. The male will appear in a Barrie court in October.
