(WAWA, ON) – On November 16, 2013 just after 2:00 am an officer from the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment had occasion to stop a 1995 Ford F150 on Mission Road in the Town of Wawa. The investigating officer detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver. Upon failing a roadside breath test, the driver, 41 year old Scott PRUNEAU of Wawa was arrested and escorted to the OPP detachment for further breath tests.
As a result the accused stands charged with Drive Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs Blood Alcohol Content. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on December 9, 2013.
