(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On January 25, 2017 at 2:16 am, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complainant on a motor vehicle in the Town of Fort Frances.
Officers located the motor vehicle on the 800 block of Kings Highway 11. The driver, Scott GINSON, age 36 years of Garson, was arrested and transported to OPP Detachment for breath tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory 7 days. The driver was subsequently charged with,
-Driving with More than 80mgs. of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253 (1)(a) of the Criminal Code
-Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
He will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on February 27, 2017 to answer to the charge.
