(Madoc, ON) – On June 6, 2015 at 9:15 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P received a traffic complaint involving a pickup truck towing a boat travelling northbound on Highway 62 from the City of Belleville. At 9:20 p.m. officers stopped the pickup truck on Highway #62 near Springbrook Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings and discovered that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation 43 year old Scott CURRIE of Burlington, ON was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80mg. He received an Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville on June 18, 2015.
