(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 51 year old male with Drinking and Driving offences after being called to a Tabot St. Cayuga, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday March 21st, 2015 at approximately 11:14 pm Police were called to the Talbot St address after a blue 2003 Dodge van left the street and struck a utility pole at the entrance to the Tim Horton’s Restaurant.
No injuries were sustained during the collision and the pole and vehicle sustained moderate damage.
As a result of the investigation Police have charged 51 year old Scott CARPENTER of Haldimand County, ON with Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while impaired by alcohol and Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
