Scissors VS Taser – Police Win

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On November 10th, 2014 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on 60th Street South.

As the Police Officer approached this residence a male aggressively confronted the Officer outside the residence waving a pair of scissors in the direction of the Officer in a threatening manner. When this male failed to response to Police request to stop the Officers use a Conductive Energy Weapon to safely end this male’s attack.

Charged with “Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose” and “Assault a Peace Officer with a weapon” is a 40 year old male from Wasaga Beach. First appearance was November 10th, 2015 in Barrie Court.
