School Bus, Fire Hall And Gas Station Hit By Dually Tires

(Marmora, ON) – At approximately 4am this morning a transport trailer travelling Eastbound on Highway 7 to Eastern Ontario had set of dually tires come off its vehicle.

One tire travelled north and hit the Marmora and Lake fire hall causing damage to the building’s garage door.

The second tire travelled south causing damage to the local Shell gas station. There was damage to a set of hydro metres, ice machine and the building.

The hub from one of the tires, travelled to the south side of the highway and hit and damaged the under carriage of a parked school bus.

Damage is estimated at around $5000.

Investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

There were no personal injuries or other travelling vehicles involved.
