(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – Today at approximately 10:22 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a call to attend a residence located on Orangeville Road in Centre Wellington Township for a non-traffic related accident.
Investigation revealed that a local contractor was hired to complete exterior renovations on a house under construction. The male was on scaffolding, working on a second floor window when the scaffolding collapsed.
Centre Wellington Fire Rescue Department along with Guelph /Wellington Emergency Services (EMS) also attended the scene. A 55 year old male victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries and subsequently transported to a Hamilton Hospital.
