Fraud Alert
We have received a number of fraud and attempted fraud complaints recently in which the victim is contacted and is convinced to give the caller access to their computer. Some victims have allowed the caller to access their on-line banking. In some of the incidents the fraudster was able to access the victims banking and transfer funds making it appear that the victim had received a deposit and then having the victim re-pay some of the money. Do not allow anyone contacting you to access your computer as it gives them an opportunity to install malware or access your personal information.
