(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) have charged a 28-year-old male with drug offences after executing a search warrant at an Old Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at approximately 10:06 a.m., police attended the address and executed a search warrant. As a result, police recovered a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency valued at approximately $17,000 dollars.
On Wednesday, March 9, 2016, police arrested and charged 28-year-old Braden Glen SAUCIER of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
· Possession of Marihuana
· Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
