(CALEDON, ON) – On October 13th, 2014 shortly before 11 pm, an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in the Village of Bolton. While patrolling, the officer observed a Chrysler Neon parked in a business parking lot. The officer then observed the vehicle exit the parking lot and the officer conducted a vehicle stop to check on the driver’s sobriety.
Upon speaking with the lone female driver, the officer detected an odour of alcohol on her breath. The officers gave the driver the roadside screening breath demand. The driver provided a sample of her breath which registered a fail. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to Detachment for further testing.
As a result of the testing, Sarah Lynn WORSLEY, 22, from Brampton was arrested and charged with Over 80.
The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused was released and she is scheduled to make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 27, 2014.
