(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Newport Road, County of Brant, Ontario.
At approximately 1:52 a.m. Sunday April 27th, 2014, the officer stopped a 2002 GMC pickup truck. While the officer was talking to the female driver, he smelled the strong odour of alcohol. The driver of the vehicle was given the Roadside Screening Test. As a result of the test, the driver was taken to the County of Brant OPP Detachment for Intoxilyzer tests.
Sandra Lee THOMAS 45 years of age from the City of Brantford is facing the following criminal charge
Drive over 80 milligrams Blood Alcohol Content
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on May 23rd, 2014 to answer to the charge.
