Sandra KARAMBESTOS – Drunk Driving

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora OPP have charged a female driver following a report of a motor vehicle collision at approximately 3:00 pm on Sunday January 5, 2014. Police attended the Kenora Shopper’s Mall and were advised that a vehicle had struck another vehicle in the parking lot and left the scene. Police located the suspect vehicle and the female driver. The driver was determined to have been consuming alcohol and failed the roadside screening device. She was arrested and transported for further tests.

As a result of this investigation, 55 year old Sandra KARAMBESTOS of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving With More than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is to appear in Kenora Court on February 13, 2014 to answer to the charge. She was also issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Drive No Licence contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
