(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local man and woman each with Break Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000. The charges stem from the forcible entry of the Salvation Army located on Sylvanite Avenue in Kirkland Lake. The subsequent investigation by police led to the recovery of the stolen property which consisted of clothing and toys. The incident occurred on November 11, 2013.
The two accused Christopher HESKETH age 26 and Taryn BOUTIN-MITCHELL age 26 both of Kirkland Lake were arrested and remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
