(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 21, 2015 at approximately 7:38 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a 2007 Ford pull into a parking lot at Queen Street near Tower Street in the Town of Fergus, Centre Wellington Township. The male driver exited the vehicle and exhibited signs of impairment.
A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Ryan SULLIVAN age 22 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 1, 2015 to answer to the charge.
