(North Glengarry) – On 24Nov14, at approximately 11:24pm, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (SD&G OPP) officers stopped a motor vehicle in Alexandria, Ontario for a traffic violation.
The investigation revealed that the 36 year old male driver (Ryan FILION of North Glengarry, On.) was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Drive motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol
– Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80mg of alcohol in blood
– Drive while under suspension
– Having open liquor in motor vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court 07Jan15.
