(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two individuals stemming from a drug investigation.
On Thursday November 14th, officers from the Sioux Lookout OPP, Northwest Region Crime Unit, and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), executed search warrants at three different properties in Sioux Lookout. Officers seized a quantity of illicit drugs and cash, the cash which was believed to be from the sale of illicit drugs.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance is 35 year old Quirino AGUSTIN of Sioux Lookout. Charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking is 33 year old Ryan BEARDY, also of Sioux Lookout.
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout court on January 7, 2014.
