(NORTH BAY, ON)-On November 13, 2014, at approximately 9:05 p.m., a member from the North Bay OPP detachment responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 17, Bonfield Township. The complaint was of a westbound Silverado pick-up being driven all over the road. The pick-up was located and stopped by police. As a result of police investigation the driver, Rudy HABOLD, age 37, of Belleville, New Brunswick, was charged with the following:
Driving while ability impaired, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (ccc)
Driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) ccc.
Drive motor vehicle with an open container of liquor, contrary to section 32(1) of the Liquor Licence Act
Driver-fail to properly wear seatbelt, contrary to section 106(2) of the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on November 25, 2014.
