Roseline MANDAMIN – Drunk Driving While Suspended

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – Officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an adult female driver with impaired driving offences on November 19, 2016 at 8:00 am.

Members of the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police, (OPP) were notified of a single motor vehicle collision on Kings Highway 71, in Chapple Township. Subsequently; Roseline MANDAMIN, (23) of Northwest Angle First Nation, was arrested at the scene and transported to Fort Frances for breath tests.

Subsequently the driver was charged with,

-Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

-Driving while under Suspension

The vehicle was impounded for a minimum of 7 days and he was issued a mandatory 90 day drivers licence suspension. She is scheduled to appear in Fort Frances Court on January 17th, 2017.

The OPP reminds motorists that operating a vehicle under the influence of any amount of alcohol is dangerous and jeopardizes your own safety as well as the safety of others.
