(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 16, 2015 at approximately 10:48 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a rear end collision involving two motor vehicles on Highway 7 near Eramosa-Milton Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driving a 2005 Nissan struck a 2005 Ford and police believed that alcohol was consumed by the Nissan operator. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.
The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Ronnie ESTEVES age 41 of Rockwood has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 30, 2015 to answer to the charge.
