(NIPISSING TOWNSHIP, ON) –On July 14, 2016 members of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit with the assistance of members from Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a drug search warrant at a property in Nipissing Township.
As a result of the investigation, Ronald VANDERSCHEE, 44, of Nipissing Township was arrested and charged with the following offences;
Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis resin – over 1gram, contrary to section 4(1) of the Control Drug and Substance Act (CDSA);
Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams, contrary to section 4(1) CDSA;
Produce a Schedule II substance – (cannabis marihuana), contrary to section 7(1) CDSA.
The accused were released from custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario on August 2, 2016.
