(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, September 23, 2013 at approximately 4:42 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a 2001 Dodge CVR travelling at a fast rate of speed westbound on Hwy. 21, west of Grey Rd. 3 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The cruiser’s radar was activated and the Dodge registered a speed of 150 km/hr. The posted speed limit is 80 km/hr.
Ronald ROBINSON, 44, of Owen Sound, was issued a Summons for racing a motor vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act. The vehicle was impounded and his driver’s licence suspended for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, October 28, 2013.
